Using Psychedelics to contemplate on entrepreneurial side of the game?

6 posts in this topic

I took the Life Purpose Course in March 2021 and was shocked by how much I could potentially discover about myself. It was around the same time that I also ventured into the world of psychedelics. I got distracted by it and it actually ended up really bad. My ego (which I had never conceived of having - I used to always see myself as an angel) got blown up to the point that I was ridiculously arrogant and it pushed me to very dangerous realms. Thanks to that experience which was like 7 months in "Actual Hell", now I am willing to negotiate with myself and find a good point to set foot on the ground.

Although I am strongly resonating with all that is in my Me sheet which I am going to share, there are some barriers that seem to be too big for me to handle. So I thought I will share it here and hear your suggestions and thoughts on the following questions:

- The field of psychology is such that you need to be really on top of the game so you can make a decent money to support the actualization of such a serious goal. It is also difficult to structure a business by only relying on Psychology. So my question is: What are some complementary skills that could be learnt alongside with psychology in order to increase the marketability of your work? Any Examples? Any clues?

- Are there any start-ups or movements that are already focused on this specific purpose or even similar, that you know of? If so, could you please list them here?

and finally this question which @Leo Gura would probably be the best person who can shed some light on:

- Another question that could be added to this me sheet would be: "What business model can you conceive that would incorporate all these aspects as a converging point?" Here is my question:

Is contemplating with the aid of psychedelics (by psychedelics I am referring to low dose of LSD) going to help with breaking free from the box and get creative with some new ways and angles of thinking about the question above? How do you exactly contemplate with psychedelics? How is it different from contemplating with sober mind? What is the recommended dosage range for contemplation only?

Thank you in advance for your guidance.Me sheet.jpg

Given this, I'd suggest you stay away from psychedelics. Seems like they will destabilize you and interfere with your career work.

This is such a broad question and hinges on many variables. It all depends on what kind of business specifically you are trying to run.

Obviously marketing & sales are good skills to learn for any kind of business. Beyond that, you can combine all sorts of skills. There are so many potential biz combinations where you use psychology plus something else.

Psychedelics can of course make you more creative and supercharge your contemplations. But this assumes your mind is able to handle them without destabilizing and spiraling out of control. Given your past experience with psychedelics this is a significant risk for you, so I would caution you against it. In general, psychedelics and starting a biz does not combine well. Starting a biz requires a lot of disciplined work while psychedelics tend to undermine that kind of work.

The same way you contemplate without psychedelics. I have several videos explaining how to do contemplation and how to ask powerful questions.

You can contemplate on any dose, or no dose at all. As your doses become higher the contemplation will tend to lose focus and just devolve into a mindfuck which you cannot guide or control. That's not necessarily bad, but it won't be productive per se.

The problem is that psychedelics are too profound to be used to contemplate something as petty as business. Perhaps that might work at very low doses. But at high doses you will forget you even have a business. It just won't matter because the issues that will arise will be way more significant than business concerns or even life purpose concerns. You will be busy struggling with matters of life and death.

You are God. You are Truth. You are Love. You are Infinity.

You could do some concentration work to supercharge your business while preparing you for true spirituality.

@Leo Gura When will you update the booklist?

"Not believing your own thoughts, you’re free from the primal desire: the thought that reality should be different than it is. You realise the wordless, the unthinkable. You understand that any mystery is only what you yourself have created. In fact, there’s no mystery. Everything is as clear as day. It’s simple, because there really isn’t anything. There’s only the story appearing now. And not even that.” — Byron Katie
