Share your daily routine

14 posts in this topic

I want to see what you guys do on a daily basis to keep yourself on track to self-actualize. Also please add how well you can keep up with this routine or if it's just a routine you'd wish to do daily.

Here's what I do the same every day.

Wake up at 08:00

Drink at least one glass of water with magnesium

30 minutes morning meditation

Breakfast (usually oats with different kinds of seeds and fruits, like bananas or apples)

Gym: usually for about 45-90 minutes

Cold shower afterwards

Lunch

Dinner

30 minutes evening meditation

Drink at least one glass of water with magnesium

Sleep

Now I want to limit the mindless media consumption in between. Especially in the morning.

@Vynce

You should also try to expand your meditation state to your whole day to get extreme results. In meditation you are kind of training your maximium conciousness level and anything that is between 2 meditation sets is training to maintain that.

How does that banana look and how does it feel on my hand. How does it taste and how much can I enjoy one bite of that awesomeness.

How little effort can I make to walk between 2 places. When you do that long enough you start to get glimpses of things happening automatically including your bodily movements. After that you get glimpses of no-self, because if it's not you doing those things what's your place in that function then.

Also if are getting angry or emotional on your daily basis you should do some breathing exercises to maintain your cool.

Love yo : )

Wake up, eat, [class, eat, gym, eat, read,] chill, eat, sleep.

or if no class

Wake up, eat, [gym, eat, read,] chill, eat, sleep.

or if no gym

Wake up, eat, [class, eat, read,] chill, eat, sleep.

or if no gym or class

Wake up, eat, [read, eat, read,] chill, eat, sleep.

Everything outside the brackets stays the same. I always keep the schedule.

@Kksd74628

Thats the goal right. I have to say that the only thing keeping me away from permanent consciousness is my addiction to thinking. It's like eating or masturbation. Chains of thought are interesting. They can be controlled. They do what I like most. As if I can have reality my way.

This addition is so strong sometimes, that even if I notice it I don't want to be conscious of the banana.

It's like I'm in a beautiful dream and star to wake up. I know I could wake up, but I genuinely don't want to.

I hope this addiction burns itself out.

Wake at 7 - care for animals, drink coffee,
8 - smoke a bowl, eat, take meds
9-12 - write, smoke summore
12-2 - organize my stuff (just moved)
2 - lunch
3-4 - write
4:30 - walk dogs
5 - dinner
6 - write
9 - meds, bed

I'm trying to burn the addiction to thought out through introspective writing.  We'll see how it goes.

@Javfly33 Not yet, I am thinking of getting some sort of degree in writing, though, I worry if I take it on as a career if the passion will die.  I'm a full time spiritual seeker atm, my life is very blessed, thank you. <3

@Vynce

I would say that you should contemplate your thoughts more and maybe even have time just to think on your routine. There are couple of reasons and those are enjoyment of the thing, being mindful of thinking, coming up with insights that make your life easier and more fulfilling and most importantly when you have thought all things you have on your mind after that your mind becomes silent.

Also like @Loba and I like to write, you should try it too. Writing is very benefical to make you more logical, get your thoughts organized and it is awesome way to learn to express oneself to the world of unknown.

Hope that this helped you : )

Ashamed to share my routine. Because I do whatever whenever however.

Plus I have some sort of a shadow against routines because both my parents were strict disciplinarians. I began to rebel against that.

wake up, drink coffee, eat, watch YouTube, read actualized.org forum

Other things I have not done them on a daily basis (besides the obvious like sleeping, brush teeth) to be counted as a daily routine yet.

I have tried to create several routines, but I don't seem to be able to ever keep up with them. Currently my routines consist of long-term habits, good and bad. There's a lot what I'd like to change/add, but I haven't found a good way to approach those changes. I meditate, stretch and self-reflect often, but cannot yet say that they're habits.

Morning

-Wake up

-Snooze

-Browse phone

-Get dressed

-Smoke a cig

-Drink coffee

Daily stuff

-Do whatever & procrastinate

-Drink water

-Take meds

Evening

-Go to bed

-Watch tv/youtube/browse phone/etc until fall asleep

- Waking up at 5 am (4 am today)

- One hour of meditation

- Morning routine (breakfeast, shover, brushing & flossing teeth)

- 1 to 2 hours of physical training (calisthenics/body weight exercises, weightlifting, boxing)

- 8 to 10 hours straight, of what I call "mental work" (generally learning usefull knowledge/skills that are relevant to my LP, but it can be any other assignment/task that needs to be done) - only a few breaks, the biggest one being lunch at 12 am

- The rest of the day is decompress, chilling, potentially going out to some event.

- Sleep generally at 10 pm

- And a lot of fucking around on this forum lol

Seems you are focused AF, love it
