those who mock conspiracy theories are fools and media brainwashed sheeps who do not question anything.some conspiracy theories are nonesense but some conspiracy theories are straight on point and it is very depressing and is very challenging for the ego to accept it

Yes it goes off the deep end, but there is more to this state of mind than you are speaking about.

There is a lot of corruption around. The vast wealth gap and media shield has created kings that get away with a lot they shouldn't, idealism has been demonized in favor of hard pragmatism or cynicism, groups or collective reasoning have been broken down to individual thought by technology and social policies, trust is at an all time low and still falling because of these factors and more.

Once a mind that has otherwise just accepted whatever they were told as true, begins to question what they are told they can begin to question everything. You might say that's healthy, well maybe, until someone else gives them all the answers. Then it depends purely on those people's state of mind or intentions. Sadly there are a lot of people out there wanting to tell you want to think and do. So you can be like them. You can find more harmless examples in your day to day life if you really look. You might say a certain level of that is necessary for human cooperation or society to function.

When someone is seeking answers they can fall into these rabbit holes without having the collective balance around them to ground their understanding, because they no longer trust people and understandably so. I trust almost nobody that isn't speaking to me directly face to face, that's a product of all the lies i've seen and swallowed in my lifetime. I realise people can lie to your face but in my experience it's less common.

All a conspiracy needs is two or more people conspiring to do something. We could do one right here. So to dismiss them outright is odd.

many people are spiritual to affirm their ego: they want to feel that they are deeper than the "normies", that they know things that only a select few know. exactly the same as those who believe in conspiracy theories
