Have you had good luck finding a good match/therapist on their platform?

@puporing yes like a year ago  i got like 7 months of free therapy, it was life changing. the people/staff at this rad thing are really wonderful people. it's almost a shock something like that even exists haha

what kind of subjects did you tackle during this time?

@PurpleTree like everything you can think of really, we mostly worked on the fact i have no idea how to live a human life because im pretty unsocialized without a family lol. she is a very developed person who can see things extremely clearly so it was really a blast, i still attend her meetings because i just enjoy talking to her and always learn something new

@Ryan_047 nope, i was anxious too and went out on a total whim and turned out to be life changing so i'd recommend applying, you have nothing to lose

@egoeimai too gather info of your income to see if you are eligible for free therapy - if you make enough money to pay for it yourself, you would be declined

I got it for free. It's based on income.

"Where the grants are limited: 

There's a $80 weekly cap on our grants. 

This means that if your therapy sessions are above that cost, we can at most cover $80 of that cost. 

This can conflict with medication and transportation costs.

Grant funds are paid directly to the therapist, meaning we handle all the payments and you just commit to attending sessions.

Grant funds cannot pay other past medical bills or inpatient services at this time.

The grants can range from 3 months to 6 months, after which a review is required to assess continuation.

Reviews are required every 2 months to verify progress and review financial needs."

 

I said for my girlfriend, she has no money, no job, no insurance. But still 80 dollar....
