any idea why zinc makes my sleep much worse

thought maybe one of the health people on this forum has an idea

 

i'm low on zinc in blood tests

zinc would help my skin and also gives me a little bit of energy

but whenever i take it i sleep really bad

seems like i can't get into deep sleep, rem sleep, don't dream and just toss and turn

i wanted to take zinc before starting the dmsa chelation

took 30mg of zinc gluconate yesterday at midday, but it also happened on lower or higher doses

also doesn't seem to make a lot of difference at what time of the day i take it imo

seems like i'm not the only one but there's never a good explanation, some say it has an effect on testosterone

If you feel bad, then it's bad and no amount of research telling you it's safe to use should not convince you at all to take that again.

your body is an intelligent system, respect it and listen to its messages. 

get your zinc from natural stuff.
