a dmsa chelation question

so i need to keep it as simple as possible, not too much information

 

 

for a first round of dmsa chelation, every 3 hours 3-4 days

if i am around 65 kg

would 25mg dmsa be good for a first round of chelation? what about 50mg for a first round? (because i found a pharmacy that can order 50mg capsules)

@PurpleTree i just got mine today on the bottle it says between 10 and 30mg per kg of body weight. Leo recommends 30mg per kg of bw. I am 80kg so i would need 2400 a day. That's 300mg every hour, but only have 200mg pills. I will be taking just 200mg, every 3 hours, including at night, for 4 days, that's 8 pills per 24h, so 32 pills for the 4 days. You have to do a week of pause afterwards. After that you can try do another round. I don't know how many of these rounds back to back you can do.

ok thanks, but i think you meant every 3 hours not every hour right?

 

i thought for the first dmsa round as a test round maybe just 25mg or 50mg in total every 3 hours

but maybe i heard/read it wrong

i think it's fair to ask those questions even a 1000 times

because if we get it wrong it could be potentially harmful
