I don't feel like I'm talking with myself

After awakening, you realise that everyone is you and that you're basically talking with yourself the entire time, similiar like in your dreams. But I don't have that feeling. I have no idea what the other people will say next and often get surprised with their insights and thinking. Why is that the case?

Is that to make the experience more interesting? I guess it would be boring if I knew everything in advance.

This isn’t about predicting what others will say next. It’s about anattā or no-self which produces more of the effect that you realize there is no identity separating your previously held notion of self with the other beings you see. Predicting speech is more of a psychic phenomenon than directly tied in with awakening. If you want anattā, go do some vipassana on your next trip.

You don't know what "is going to happen next" because 

a) there is no such thing (by that I mean "the future")

b) reality unfolds spontaneously

@Tim R But if I as God create the entire conversation, shouldn't I be able to somehow see the "script"? Just like the screenwriter knows what lines will the actors say next in a movie because he's the one who wrote it in the first place.

Cause it’s private, not something you’re imagining. Sounds like you’re moving away from the solipsistic view, (others as less x,y or z than you), and into ‘real’ openmindedness and deeper exploration. Which is great imo.

Creation doesn't have a script, as this script would be part of creation. 

And by the way: you also don't know what you're going to do or say next. What "other people" are going to do or say next isn't any different in that regard. It seems like you're controlling ("scripting") what you're doing and saying, but you don't.

Can also ‘flip that script’ unto yourself. Might be illuminating. Some say waking up is spontaneity itself awakening from a sleep of patterns.

He cannot explain you into nondoership. It’s an insight that has to be directly experienced to mean much. Anyway, here’s a shot:

You don't have any idea what they are going to do or say next in a night time dream either..yet it's all held within your mind.  It's happening in the subconscious mind...in other words it happening but you are not conscious of it.  Same thing with an infinite mind.  If you as Infinite Mind were conscious of how you were doing it all the time and what was going to happen next, the dream would be over and you would be in full God Mode.  You wouldn't be able to play the role of the finite ego.

@Tyler Durden Meditate! And you will find out for yourself, much better and much more direct than I or anyone could ever explain it to you. 

What you think "you are doing" and what you think "is happening to you" is a completely arbitrary distinction. 

As I said, you can find this out in meditation. Watch your breath. Because it will allow you to see through this silly distinction of doing and happening. 

What you're doing is all that is happening, and all that is happening is what you're doing.

It doesn't feel like I'm talking with myself. It just seems like this character is talking to that character, but in actuality no one is speaking or being spoken to. There's no alternative though because no one is separate from everything. That's it.
