All you ever want is love

29 posts in this topic

All you ever wanted and all you ever want is love.  You look for love in substances and relationships and food etc. But true love can only come from within.  Self-love is the highest teaching in the universe as Leo said.

So don't try to chase love from external sources because it will always be incomplete.

my mind is gone to a better place.  I'm elevated ..going out of space . And I'm gone .

This is all true, but I would encourage you to examine and break down the external/internal duality for more results.

What did the stage orange scientist call the stage blue fundamentalist for claiming YHWH intentionally caused Noah’s great flood?

Delugional.

I want what I love and love what I want.

What I want is what I think I am lacking. And so all I ever want is to be complete.

To accept and love Being it is totality and to recognize myself as the entirety of Existence.

And just like that, it’s hijacked right out from under your nose.

That's a nice way to put it.

And external and internal are One.

You are God. You are Truth. You are Love. You are Infinity.

But there can be degrees of purity to the love.
If you can get all the love you need from your own self rather than other people that would be of a higher value, right?

Getting love from people and substances is also Love. The notion of “higher” value itself is dualistic.

God sees all things as equal value.

But then you get dependent on external factors for your peace of mind. You can have that. But not if your goal is unconditional peace and love.

The paradox is that goals themselves are founded on conditionality. Reality has to be a certain way for that goal to be considered “accomplished” .. but true spirituality cannot be boxed into such structures.

Unconditional peace and love is to radically accept what is … which includes even NOT being able to love unconditionally.

In God’s view, ALL humans (including your form-identity) can do no wrong in their thoughts and actions, which is the beauty of liberation.

That there is no "external to you". Perhaps this was funnier to me than to you. You're still right tho.

I think you can find love in external sources.  When I am petting one of my animals, I feel a lot of love for that creature.  It can be memorized and used on myself or others, too.  As long as you remember how and where it felt.  Love can be learned outside of yourself for sure.

What are we theorizing as the all in the ‘all you ever want is love’ inquiry?

What’s all, ‘all this stuff’ made of really?

Can what is be a your goal?
