All the political stuff going on is nonsense.  People seem like soulless grifters these days.  The sheer level of incompetence and aggressive ignorance on so many topics is astounding.  It’s like people are waging a war on truth and on goodness and on any kind of competence or direction

The future?  Doesn’t matter.  Sure all our grandchildren will probably die and suffer horribly when they’re like 8 or 9 or 10 or 11 or 12 years old, but it’s not literally happening right now so who cares.  Let’s find some nonsensical bullshit to pay attention to instead

All this spirituality and meditation stuff is kind of nonsense too to be honest.  I have followed Leo for many years and have found a lot of value in what he has to say, but ultimately using various techniques to destroy the mind’s ability to feel negative emotions isn’t some kind of “enlightenment”

Truth is pain.  The more pain one can bare, the more truth one can see.  Happiness can always only come from ignorance and delusion.  Maybe that’s why people are so delusional.  Maybe there is only hedonism and all truth and meaning is a lie

Anyways, I guess it’ll be fun to watch this nonsense called civilization finally crumble.  It will be painful, but in the end it will all be over soon enough

What some see as collapse will be an opportunity for real change and progress to occur. When the structures we've created no longer serve us and start to fall away we can move beyond them.

We just, collectively, as a group of countries working together, launched a telescope that no one would ever think would have the funding to be launched - something so powerful that it will be able to take pictures of the beginning of our universe.

The people's collective efforts were flawless - like a one-time dance where all the moves had to be choreographed just right.

We did that.

As a species.

We will get to see the baby universe as it unfolds.

Humans are amazing.  Our civilization will grow if we all work together.  And we did.  We worked together so brilliantly, that the rocket was launched and it stayed on course, right exactly over the designated lines - they synced up where it would go - and it overlapped the route flawlessly.

We can make it, if people can be reminded of what we can do when we work together as a species.  More stories and more actions like this need to happen.  And it will!  People's imaginations will be captivated, space will become once again a place of unfurling mysteries.

You’re lost brother.

Truth is actuality, not excluding pain or pleasure, sorrow or happiness, gain or loss… Find the truth in all experience and recognize pain does not equal suffering.

If you’re only thinking and conceptualizing over spirituality, yes complete nonsense. If you’re actually applying the concepts of Actualized.org through practice, completely different.

Spirituality is not about using techniques to destroy the mind’s ability to feel negative emotions. Not sure where you’re getting this false idea. Most likely a misrepresentation, an unconscious projection and criticism from a lack of serious direct experience. Spirituality at the deepest level is about penetrating into the truth of phenomena, all appearance including negative emotions. Further, negative emotions are vital teachers, and sources of introspective awareness into the unconscious movements of mind and misalignments with one’s most authentic alignment. Considering where you’re at though, stick with just realizing negative emotions and positive emotions are held in existential equilibrium when true spirituality is practiced.
