Lets Chat.

I am currently developing each month new and newer versions of my personal finance sheet. Right now I just updated to downloading the transactions from my bank statement each week, then I run the calculations on each transaction depending on class of transaction. This allows me to compare my projected expenses to my actual expenses. The goal is to build the best financial workbook possible so I can keep track of my transactions, and financial goals.

I also am creating different types of collections depending on the financial issue at hand. There are many I have in mind and may discuss later. For now I am just interested to hear about how people are organizing their finances. Structure only, lol... not context needed.

Currently trying to create a system that balance accuracy, nuance and convenience.

@meadow is a total nerd/expert about this stuff.

If you're looking for a tool to periodically download these transactions into your sheet automatically, and run the calculations you want, look into Nordveld.
