Not exactly. Going out and not drinking can be seen as a creepy thing to do in certain drinking heavy cultures if you don't have the confidence to pull it off.

It does also help you let loose if you have a lot of anxiety which I would argue on the whole is beneficial if you're careful

When I move to my new city (only a couple weeks now), I'll start going to bars alone as well. Obviously gonna try to make friends and find wings and stuff, but yeah.
