This statement is widely accepted.  Why?

I don't know why it is widely accepted, but I can tell you why I accept it: because the big bang (if it even occurred as we know it) symbolizes the starting point in time of this physical reality - but I suspect that the 'You' in 'You existed', that I am, is not limited to this body or to physical reality.

It's not something that's possible to "accept". It can only be experienced.

Even if you believe in the big bang theory, there must have been something that exploded. Do you think nothing exploded? – if something was there before the explosion then the explosion is not the beginning. It may be A beginning but it is not the beginning.

And when I say there has never been any beginning, I mean the beginning. Something was always there – whether it exploded or whether it grew slowly, in one day or in six days or in one single moment, doesn’t matter. There must have been something before it, because only something can come out of something. Even if you say there was nothing, and it came out of nothing, then your nothing is full of something, it is not really nothing.

Hence I say there has never been any beginning and there will never be any end. Maybe a beginning, maybe many beginnings and maybe many ends, but never the first and never the last. We are always in the middle.

I am leaning towards another reality. This "reality" is likely not base reality, more like a simulation.  That's why we are so determined to awaken.  I am not 100% on this, but i like the idea.  Maybe it's dangerous, i don't know. It explains everything nicely. Think of it as a game.  You enter the game when you are born and exit when you die.  You don't understand why you have to play or how to play, so you look to other players and past games to get an idea.  The game has been going on for so long its origins and rules are forgotten.  We are all trying to get back to start position.  Base reality.

Reality is much stranger than that.

It's absolutely infinite. Every distinction is arbitrary.

How else can existence be?

It all makes perfect sense once you see it. After all, you did create it all out of nothing

@Leo GuraRecently I've been getting the impression that reality is happening in multiples simultaneously. Is that just the mind playing it's tricks or could there be some truth to that on some level? Any thoughts either way on that from what you have experienced?
