Dharma Teaching: Attaining Awareness

2 posts in this topic

Because one that is attached to desires believes to see many ways. But to someone who is calm, is attaining awareness, sees but only Awareness in all beings. There is no other way then yourself. You yourself must become the way. And this is always the case. One sees differences, due to he has a sense of self, and all those who are attached to desires, do exactly see the same, that there are many ways and believe this to be true. But to those who are calm, Attaining Awareness, know, they themselves must be their own way, which doesn't differ from others.

It seems, that people follow many traditions. But they only serve their Awareness. Forms seem to differ, why? Because people believe them to be real and those who believe it to be real, are attached to their desires, and think there are many forms. But to whom is attaining Awareness, this one sees that all forms are empty, and sees but one form.

All this and all that, all these and all those... Attachment to desires, a sense of self, surely makes one believe that there is differences in all objects, but one who is attaining Awareness, sees but one object.

So how does Dharma come to be? By contact, whereby one is not resisting  and phenomena persist, there Dharma is born. Dharma is one with protection, and can therefor only be coming from one, and leading to one. And never shows many ways but one. That is You, yourself. And the other, well, I don't know anything about him.

May these words calm and bring freedom of mind.

@Aware It's counter-intuitive that our ego has to be strong before it can be dissolved.
