Maybe we are evolving to a point where technology will help us to rise our consciousness? What do you think?

Here I post some parts of the article, but you can read it complete on the link above.

"When Tobias van Schneider slips on a virtual reality headset to play Google’s Tilt Brush, he becomes a god. His fingertips become a fiery paintbrush in the sky. A flick of the wrist rotates the clouds. He can jump effortlessly from one world that he created to another.

When the headset comes off, though, it’s back to a dreary reality. And lately van Schneider has been noticing some unsettling lingering effects. “What stays is a strange feeling of sadness and disappointment when participating in the real world, usually on the same day,” he wrote on the blogging platform Medium last month. “The sky seems less colorful and it just feels like I’m missing the ‘magic’ (for the lack of a better word). … I feel deeply disturbed and often end up just sitting there, staring at a wall.”

Don’t you realize that all of you together are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God lives in you?

Sounds nice, even Shinzen young speaks of this idea during his 2 hour interview on Buddhaatthegaspump.

What I don't like about this is the disappointment after the experience, almost like a bad trip on drugs.

That's the Key... the disappointment is needed!!!! Once you see that "you" can't do nothing... total surrender comes.

And with total surrender maybe enlightenment... who knows?

The problem is that people needs training, practice. Otherwise their ego will send them to a big depression before letting enlightenment happen. The ego prefer to destroy us in order to keep him leaving. It's pure evil.

If your speculation were true, some governments would try to control or ban it.

@Neo  Governments are as sleep as most of the population. Anyway the experience can help only if you are prepared. If you are not, it can be worst.

You can end in a hospital thinking you went crazy.

@abrakamowse  @Wormon Blatburm Its a good tool, for a spiritual teacher. (or someone with a spiritual teaching that is valid), but without proper guidance, one is just trapped, servant of the senses.

Many really think, that there is an automatic system that leads them to enlightenment, if they take this and that, or do this and that, they automatically succeed one day. That everything just always flows towards enlightenment. This is however their game, and a long cycle indeed. Or did you readers not notice? A bunch of people on this forum, are really propagating they are nothing. Well this is of course their game, and a long cycle indeed.

Well because we are nothing, we are therefor everything, shush Motus you just don't get it. Well readers, did you guys not read such posts? This is however their game, and a long cycling game indeed.

With or without such technology, I do not see any difference in being a game addict at all.

Exactly, I was just wondering if some change can happen from that technology... but there's a big chance that nothing change indeed, I agree.
