Why is it for us just to Love is a hard thing to do?

It is actually so simple that the answer to our predicament on earth is to just simply have love towards each other, but why can't we do that?

 

I'm trying to understand the underlying mechanism.

Preserving the self.
Why do people not give money or affection to a hobo, preservation of the self (money and statut wise).

If you love too much, there is no self anymore, that's what people fear unconsciously.

We experience many emotions. All of them are "love" in the eyes of god.

Sadness = love

Awe = love

Anger = love

Asking god to make everyone happy and affectionate all the time would be like asking Michelangelo or Da Vinci to paint only with the yellow color.

Doest that than imply that by its design the universe was made so that it would be contradicting for people to maximes love, because they are part of a survival system in which the more dominant species eats other? Etc.

So in a way its not peopkes fault, but it is by the disgusting of the universe we are in, that people have to selfish and so on.?
