Why Religion Is Famous

I may be inexperienced or ignorant in this view of mine i welcome reasoning and correction. I think an important factor for the religions to be famous among the average people is its concept of justice. He who will do wrong to someone will pay for it in the afterlife. I know who you guys can reject all this as beliefs. But this gives average people a sense of security. A GOD who will reward them for being treated unjustfully. Personally i also like the concept.

Average people are probably more into the concept of paradise than justice itself.

Thinking that you'll be finally and constantly happy, is what makes people act or not in life.

It gives their life a meaning, they won't die for "nothing".

Well, what I noticed is that there's certainly a little division among "average" ppl of different "religions." They hold certain values like, "this is the right path to God." They may view other ppl not in their "religion" as different, and assume that the others have very different values, which of course, could be totally wrong - dropping other ppl in the wrong category thinking they know them. Then, even gossiping about them.

This is not just a "religion" thing. It also has to do with assuming things about others without properly knowing them.
