prayer.... no wait... bear with me.... Jung said that prayer is a way to enter into bilateral dialogue with your own subconscious - that's a take that I pretty much agree with... some years ago I was having real trouble getting up early in the morning, so I started saying a prayer when I went to bed, asking 'God' to wake me up with energy at whatever time I needed to get up.... and I can tell you, it worked a charm... I guess I sent a message to my own subconscious saying 'get this body awake, alert and ready to go at exactly 5.30am', and it would work every time....

about that. if it's very hot, my sleep isn't very deep often.

Yes, it is better to sleep in a colder room with blankets than a hot room with nothing.  I would make sure your room is at the right temp. that is more comfortable for you w/ either a fan or a heater if you need it.

My routine is two cups of coffee, then breakfast, then meds, then a walk around the block with the dogs if it isn't raining, then a bowl of high thc sativa w/ dabs, then I work out for ten minutes and I am awake and ready for the day.  If you are not a coffee/tea or weed person, then getting a stair machine or treadmill and working out.  If you have a dog, take it out first thing and walk around.

If you are still having trouble with your sleep, talk to a sleep specialist, you should be getting a solid 8-9 hours of sleep, more if you are sick, under stress or have a mental/physical ailment.

and body pain

What sort of pain? Like joint pains?

Have you had any medical investigation/tests of any kind?

I have had some good luck with brining the room temp to 67F. I heard there was studies on it that proved it helped individuals sleep the most.

I would recommend turning on night shift on your pc and phone a couple hours before bed. Adjust it to be more amber for sure.

Try out these bulbs in your room and other places. It will take a little to adjust your eyes to them, but it helps a lot. I notice myself being able to sleep much faster. I also do a 15 minute meditation before bed to help calm my mind more. I keep some spare melatonin in my room for those nights that I know I might not be able to sleep well.

I've had some tremendous results doing this. I was even able to train myself to sleep on my back every night with adding this stuff, which cured all of my wrist pain that I have had for years.
