How does omniscience work?

One of God's main attributes is omniscience. How does that work in reality? I don't know everything but I can get the information from other people, internet, books, etc. Did I make myself forget about it so I can acquire it again through this process?

You know what you know.   Leo knows what he knows. Donald trump knows what he knows. Sara Jay knows what she knows. Your cat knows what she knows etc etc 

Combine all the knowledge of all the beings and that is all knowledge.

Now realize all beings are the same being which is you. So all knowledge is your knowledge.

Great explanation. I guess it's better to split your knowledge between different people than to have it all as one individual. That's all me in the end anyways.

This has basically been answered, but I'll provide my explanation anyway. First there's all possible experience(Omnipresence) from which arises all possible knowledge(Omniscience). Consciousness isn't created in or by the brain, but your individual state of consciousness is correlated with neuronal activity(which is of course is hallucinated by consciousness). As such, some understanding of neuroscience is useful here. The common point of reference for ordinary human consciousness is when the neural oscillations are mostly in what's called beta(12.5 to 30 cycles per second). At this level of consciousness, there exists a 3 dimensional spacetime continuum, with separate objects and lifeforms and all kinds of other differences. You experience yourself almost exclusively as a mortal observer in this state, a slow type of intellectual learning is engaged. However, if you were to fall asleep(or attain the same thing while awake, which occurs to some degree when concentrating on something relaxedly.). Your brain would start to slow down and oscillate with greater energy; paradoxically this causes an expansion in objective awareness of the individual. At that point, your brain is predominately at alpha(8-12hz). The programming that makes you the individual you think of yourself as is located somewhere around about middle alpha. So if you can remain conscious while your brain is predominately at lower alpha, it's possible to alter any characteristic of yourself. You can become aware of why your personality is the way it is, and you can also change it. You can change your physiology; including but not limited to the intensity of thermogenesis, metabolic activity, even what diseases/illnesses are possible/impossible. You can literally heal yourself at will effectively. If it sounds like I'm overstating things here, I'd recommend you study Wim Hoff. His exploits are striking examples of what's possible when a human becomes competent at lower alpha. 

 

However, if your brain were to slow down even further than this(which occurs when dreaming) you'd enter theta(4-8 hz). When the brain oscillates at predominately 4.5hz, you're incredibly close to slipping into delta(1-4hz). Delta is the level of the Godhead, here the differentiated self disappears. And causal spacetime reality is impossible(as there's absolute formlessness). All possible realities exist there, waiting to be called upon. Because all possibilities exist there, all knowing does as well. So if you were subjectively aware while your brain is at the gate between delta and theta(approximately 4.5hz) in response to any question you ask would arise the infallibly correct answer. But the modality of language here is foreign to most humans(because it's multifaceted, being comprised of vibratory light and non verbal raw information, not just human languages like English). Not to mention the fact that humans are typically unconscious subjectively at this level(even lower alpha tends to be unconsciously experienced in most people). Hence why you as a human feel so clueless and powerless, even though you've actually been Omniscient and Omnipotent the entire time. I would at this point comment more on delta brain waves, and maybe even on gamma. But since your question was about how Omniscience works and not Omnipotence I'll stop here.
