You are not consciousness/nothing/awareness/etc

I see so many posts saying I am consciousness! I am nothing! I am awareness!

This is simply identification with words. You are literally thinking that you are some word.

You are NOT a word thus if you try to define what you are in words you always miss the mark in my opinion.

My good man, the words are sharings, pointings. The intention of, isn’t to convince you that you are the words, but for you to get on your path and see for yourself. Consciousness, nothing, and awareness could be said to be uniquely communicative words, as they point to that which has no opposite. Yet, thinking makes it so. Another pointing word, if ever a pointing was heard, meditation

That's exactly what these words point to :)

Maybe you don't get the pointer, and maybe others don't get it when they say it. But in its authentic germination, this is exactly what it points to. Argue about it as much as you want, won't change anything about Truth being itself, it doesn't care. Use whatever language you like, or be silent if you prefer that.

The pointer is for people that are trying to put what they are into words. Never will I be a word and thus I am not consciousness.

No, the pointer is for beings who take themselves to be limited to a body or to thoughts. It says "You are neither of those, look at yourself, look at the actual beingness which is not a word."
To be reminded of that and fall out of the mind is a very beautiful thing. At some point though, these pointers are unnecessary. And they can be misinterpreted.

Both nothingness and somethingness are what you are, literally speaking. And the totality is IMO not you.

All elements of you are reducible to the singularity. But the singularity is, vice versa, not reducible to any sort of you.

You aren't imagining the world or laws of physics etc. These are things beyond any "you", they're not something you're controlling or willing into being. The totality can't be called you I don't think, for these types of reasons.

Consciousness = nothingness. Literally. It's literally nothingness in substance. It's a silly word really, because no normal person will see "consciousness" and think it's anything but something...

thousands of things are said here to help the mind loosen its chains and free itself. none of them is liberation, obviously, but they are a drop of solvent for the bars of your prison
