Time travel

Explain the mechanism of travel.

At the end of the day, reality is amechanical, infinite imagination. Anything is possible. If anything seems impossible, it's only because of a local, temporary, apparent constraint. If you can imagine travelling back to when the dinosaurs existed, then why can't God imagine it?

If reality is nothing but appearances, you can't actually distinguish between "real" time travel and something that simply appears as time travel. Therefore, things like grandfather paradoxes, timeline discontinuity and object identity aren't necessarily a problem (although if they were, they would also just be appearances in consciousness).

Any mechanisms are imagined on the fly.

You think we discovered some atoms, but actually we created them at the same time we discovered them.

The difference between something you've already discovered and something you just discovered, is the imagination that the thing you already discovered has already been discovered.

So when you come back to your house, you don't think you've discovered anything, but actually you've created a whole new house in an instant, the same way you've created the park you never saw in a city you've never been, when you first discovered it (and thus imagined it).
You think you've already seen the house, with all the memories in your mind, but those memories are also imagined on the fly to have a sense of persistent reality.

Again this isn't philosophy, you can directly experience this when you awaken.

@Shin Great explanation. So each time I look away from my body and then look back at it, I'm creating it for the first time?

Still.. Time travel is not possible because there is only NOW. There is no time to begin with.

If someone were to ask you what time it is, there will never be a time in your life, when you cannot say “it is now”. You may point to a mechanical device on the wall and give them some number, which is an agreed upon time and you will also be right. It is now, everywhere on the planet, regardless of what time zone you are in. If Planet X were to hit earth and destroy the planet, half the people would die in their sleep and the other half in the middle of the day, but all would die in the same present moment.

How much time went by before you were born? You will have no memory of it of course, so you must rely on what someone tells you. Could be 13.7 billion years, if you believe in the Big Bang theory, could be shorter if you believe in creationism or it could be that you have always been here and this is just your current present

Time moves at a different rate at your feet compared to your head. The rate of how many right now you experience is relative to the gravity field you currently exist in. Time and gravity are one and the same locked together by the gravitational constant.
Travelling back in time is the dead end. Assuming you could exceed the mass of light speed and pass the event horizon. As of right now we have no physics to explain what happens there.

Travel is not possible either because there is only HERE. There is no journey to begin with.

Technically there is no time, but the experience of going back in time is possible, just like any other one, cause you can imagine an infinite number of experiences as God.

As long as you imagine time, the experience of time does exist, totally, it's just that you see past through the illusion that it is an absolute if you're awake.

The experience of time travel would still happen, or seem to happen, just like whatever else you're experiencing right now.

It's only a matter of buying into it fully while not awake, or seeing it's just another experience amongst an infinite number while awake.

You're underestimating yourself as God, literally anything is possible for you ?

I do understand your time as a concept now but my orthodox is the scientific principle. Agreed the past is a concept in so much as you can't change it but tell that to my ex-girlfriend.

The past is a series of cumulative events that form the now. You can't reflect on the now you, without the you past forming your reality. My relativity comments where to point out the absolute existence of time as a reality.
The question then becomes if you can't change it does it then become a concept.

No. There is not only "here". There is apparent distance that we can travel through space.

Distance, time and travel are abstractions; relative statements. "Now/here is all there is" are absolute statements. You're unclear about the distinction. You say it's only time that exists as a concept in your head, but it's the same with distance and travel.

@Carl-Richard look, dude, unless you explain how does It work, you are just believing in it.  So far you didn't explain the mechanism of time travel. You just said that it's possible. But that's like saying anything is possible. But not sure if that's correct. In this reality context we live in.. Not everything goes. So yeah.. You need to explain how would time travel work.

I already said that my statements are not confined to local constraints. Anything IS possible. Besides, I didn't see you explain the mechanism of travel yet :P Mechanistic explanations don't change anything.

Well we aren't talking about this relative world, and even then, it might happen someday.

Some physicists already say it will be possible by the way.

For the absolute, it's totally possible as anything else you could imagine.

I already traveled in time in one of my dream B|

What is there to explain? Lol You move your body through the spacial dimension. Forward and backwards and all directions.

Now explain how you move through time other than moving forward. Can you go backwards in time?  If so.. How?

Why? Is a dream not reality? You're constructing arbitrary constraints. We're not.

You're imagining that. You can imagine something else.

This is not a fruitful conversation, because you're looking for constraints, and I don't have any :P

What we call “now” is the unchanging reference point, to which all time is referred. All that came before now, we call the past and all that comes after now, we call the future, but “now” itself, never moves. Since it is now, everywhere in the universe, it is not physically possible to travel to a point that isn’t now, like to the past or future. Only in imagination, may we make such a journey
