What is true patriotism for the country wher you live in terms of spiral dynamics?

Example: Eighty years after having stood up to the Nazis, Polish grandmother and Warsaw uprising fighter Wanda Traczyk-Stawska is now waging a new battle in defence of migrants and Poland's presence in the European Union.

Traczyk-Stawska is now defending Poland's presence in the European Union and migrant rights.

Wanda Traczyk - Stawska:

''This patriotism that these nationalists display has nothing to do with patriotism, because a patriot is someone who understands what is good for his country. Patriotism is about making people safe. We don't have the right to leave a child in a dangerous situation. For me, the way these children are treated at the border is shameful.''

What do you guys think what are the signs of true patriotism stances and what makes one a patriot given your countries current historical and political situation and development?
