how do i start a social circle?

i find myself so deterred from this, it's not that there aren't opportunities but i just would rather meditate or nap. but at the same time i need people and i've isolated myself way too much, it's starting to take a toll on my mental health

 

any good, QUALITY books on socializing?

Please none of that win friends and influence ppl bullshit

Ironically, cold approach is amazing for building a social circle quickly.

You can make dozens of new friends within a month of going out every weekend.

I recommend meetup.com or you can find all kinds of social activities in your area by looking online. I moved to the city from the countryside to get a social life as it was impossible where I was from, had to a reduction in wages, but it was worth it than being on my own. Whatever you enjoy just look it up. meetups are very common because theyre loads of foreign people in cities that have no connections.
