Leo, why train and meditate if we are the TRUTH already?

5 posts in this topic

Hello, everyone. My first time here and I can't wait to join this community and learn from everyone.

First of all, I really want to thank Leo for all the life lessons and suggestions. Leo, you are a real pioneer who is so open-minded and so creative in exploring different methods of reaching enlightenment. You are a true mentor who has found his life purpose and dedicated to teach and help others. I truly appreciate what you offered all these years. Your selfless teachings mean a lot to me in my life.

Back to the topic. I stopped doing serious meditation 10 years ago. Why? Because I slowly realized if I die I will join the TRUTH naturally and automatically without doing anything, or you can say, I am the TRUTH already all these time. Leo has mentioned similar thing in various teaching videos.

If this is so, then why shall we meditate, train, and do any spiritual exercise? In a lots of religions, mentors asks practicers to dedicate their entire life for practicing/ training/ meditating (Sādhanā/ 修行), for the purpose of achieving/ reaching the TRUTH, why practice/ train/ meditate if we are already the TRUTH?

Because you're living a life disconnected from Truth, lost in delusion.

Do you want a good life or a shitty life?

You are God. You are Truth. You are Love. You are Infinity.

@silkcat  Some argue that it's practice for the moment of death.

You are the truth on the absolute level, but vastly different levels of consciousness and different levels of attainment exist on the relative plane. What Leo said - do you want a good life or a shitty life?

@Leo Gura Concise, wise, and to the point, as usual. Thank you very much for the answer, Leo. It really helps. Meditate to clear the recurring delusional fog thus capable of having a good life.

@Kshantivadin  Thank you. Yes, subjectively I'm still me in my daily life.

@Nahm  Thank you. You guys are right. My life is not the best at the moment. To make most out of it, I shall keep practicing as Leo said.
