What do you think about AI?

So i watched this movie called Free Guy. It is about a nps that achieves sovreignity to an AI code. The movie romanticizes and gives life to this AI but as fictional entertainment. It appeals to the younger generation and messages them that AI is something good and will be part of our lives and society.

There is going to be a meeting in the vatican ( of all places) about the future of AI.

Quoting from the article:

"Vatican meeting explores challenge of artificial intelligence

The Pontifical Council for Culture and the German Embassy to the Holy See host a one-day symposium starting on Thursday looking at "The Challenge of Artificial Intelligence for Human Society and the Idea of the Human Person".

“What are we learning about consciousness? How do our brains work? Could machines be able to imitate that and achieve the same results? Or is there something different about human consciousness that we need to reflect on?”"

Speaking of the vatican, you should change your name to St. Peter Jordanson :D

my two cents:

"Artificial Intelligence" is a gross misnomer.  What people are actually interested in is artificial (man-made) self-awareness or artificial ego.   Is it possible to create a system that is aware of what it is?
