I'm done with spirituality, infinity is the worst idea to play with

I know Jed McKenna says "further" but who is Jed McKenna? He's me. The everythingness that exists. Knowing infinity must be so fucking painful. I wonder if there's a way to feel infinite love without the suffering. Impossible surely? Everything is relative.

I think a lot of people in this community make the mistake of an all or nothing attitude. They see how intense these Yogis and Leo can be, and they feel like either you must devote your entire being to whatever they think they are looking for and there is no other way.

I started this journey as well, but got a bit burnt out like you seem to be saying. I realized that my spiritual journey can compliment my life, rather than be my life itself. I still meditate and apply awareness, try to use that in my everyday life etc, but I dont feel this need to break through anymore. When it is time for me to make a breakthrough, I'll be open to it as much as possible. But im not gonna spend my life being a monk

Infinity, or Leo's brand of Spirituality ain't the only fish in the sea...

Broaden your idea of spirituality. Maybe things like

1. Good Qi flow

2. Mental Clarity

3. Being joyful and perfectly okay with what is

4. Health intimacy and sexual relationships etc

Infinity is actually Love, so it's not painful.

Limitation is painful

Sounds like you have thrown in the towel on your spiritual journey. Best to admit it honestly than to delude yourself

If you have love of truth you are bound to the path and bound to service. Even if you suck or aren't brave enough or what have you.  The path will drag you kicking and screaming.

How much do you love truth?

@Axiomatic this sounds like the healthiest approach and probably what spirituality was meant for anyways was to be a compliment to your life and not something that was supposed to take over every waking moment.

I think that meditation and letting everything else go to focus on life is a good way to get into a flow state.  And flow states are great for having insights, and authentic breakthroughs.

Love this, completely agree :)

This is what it boils down to in the end, I think.

I will be of service. I give my life to God. Please show me the way

That's the spirit.

Also self love is the way. And don't take anything too seriously.

The only thing I got from this thread is that you bought Leo's booklist.

Foolish until proven other-wise ;)

Lol it's because I had another account on here but didn't want Leo to ban me for having 2 after I bought his booklist. So the username was just a message to Leo that I'm a loyal customer and please don't ban my IP ?

@Gesundheit2 Call me paranoid but are you sure you're not Leo?

I ask because you said something that only Leo, myself and my partner know. Otherwise,  it's a mad coincidence

How does one get to what already is?

How could you get to what already is?

How did you get to what already is?

How could you have gotten to what already is?

How could what already is, be otherwise?

How could what already is, be put into a context without that itself simply being what already is?

@Gesundheit2 You said that Joseph Maynor was reactive stubborn and egotistical.  Which is what Leo said.

I don't recall saying that. Ergo, I don't think I'm Leo.

I know for certain you said he was stubborn and egotistical. Not certain about reactive. You said neurotic.  But still very similar.

Anyways..
