Perfectionism

2 posts in this topic

Hello, I recently just started doing Leo's rubber band challenge for curing my perfectionism and it's going great :).

The problem I think is that I've got into this paradox of beating myself up for not paying enough attention to when I am critizing.

Then I go into this downward  spiral and end back where I was again.

I would like to receive some feedback on how to get out of this rut and cure my perfectionism for good. :)

Hmmm. Awareness, yes. Seems crazy but to skip that step at times it backfires... Specially if you are a perfectionist. Try to be in the moment, be aware of the feelings rising up... Let them be but sit back and wonder to why??? The dynamic of the process. For myself, my ego gets a kick out of "accomplishment" "I did something damn good!" Feeds the "I" pretty good....... Realize that, it is not important to feed the "I" yet you can perform suitable... Most importantly if you can truly be in the moment, without judgment, with total acceptance, you are totally in your element. Do not criticize you power of doing, just swim in it....
