God - The Ultimate Subject

10 posts in this topic

Quick post for clarification - have I got it right or am i talking shit?

Duality is all about subject and object relationships, so when we do self inquiry, we are trying to find the true subject of experience. We quickly, or not so quickly find out that the bodymind is not the true subject to experience, because of the fact that it too is an object to the subject You.

For now, its the unconscious God, the Ego, but once i dive deep enough into this rabbit hole, my ego will show itself as unreal and will deflate like a balloon, leaving only the true self in charge (i suppose)- when my self is selfless and no longer entangled with identification with the bodymind.

My goal now is to do Karma yoga, selfless action, to align closer to that.

Duality is a belief

Seperation is a belief

There is no subject for subject is a belief

There is no object for object is a belief

Unconciousness is a belief

all of that ^ it's a belief

Questioning every part of your experience, mainly your thoughts, is the "quickest" way to realise these things

@Dodoster Yes, basically.

But you're not likely to grasp this through karma yoga.

Sit down and OBSERVE your DIRECT EXPERIENCE. Right now! Where are you? Who is observing this sentence?

You gotta sit down and force yourself to observe direct experience. The selfless action is good, but it's purpose is different: to develop good character. All the good character in the world is very unlikely to get you to notice that you are Nothing. You have to grapple with direct experience.

The best way for you to align yourself to this right now is by becoming conscious that it is TRUE. Then you can work more to embody it. But first you gotta realize it's TRUE! Taking it on faith DOES NOT COUNT!

You are God. You are Truth. You are Love. You are Infinity.

Thought I might add but I realise just saying that everything is a belief is not really going to help anybody, you could tell a homeless person on the street the situation of their life is just a belief, a construct of ego, and that they're not really experiencing this but are God, infinity itself while deluding themselves into suffering because they believe the ego is them, but what is that going to change?

Do not think because you are ego that you are suffering and for you to be happy at all you need to destroy ego, truth isn't about the destruction of your life or beliefs or a withering away of your sense of self to find bliss in infinity, it's the simple recognition of what is true, and that includes everything in existence, you are complete because you are here, as you are right now, and only you think you need to improve or change or "realise the truth of reality to dissolve into eternal awareness and live a no-self life full of clarity" but regardless we will continue to strive for something else because that is the nature of identity, and that too is okay

@Leo Gura

Just want to say you must have one hell of a mind to stay in such delusion while mainting your business, props to you my friend.

@key Chop wood, carry water.

You ain't out of the delusion till you're dead. So make the best of it. Or don't. Up to you.

You are God. You are Truth. You are Love. You are Infinity.

Sit down and OBSERVE your DIRECT EXPERIENCE. Right now!

You know the scene from the 90's film "Ghost" where he tries to move and pick up objects but can't because he's a ghost? I feel like that trying to find the "I".

We are not nothing, we are not something. From nothing does not come something, and from something comes not nothing. There is not a single trace of self to be found, not in the form of something, and not as a not form like nothing or a combination of it.

Let me share the truth.

People can endlessly sit down, try to observe this or that, question this or that in this or other manner, sit like this or sit like that, stand like this or stand like that, walk like this or walk like that, eat this or like this, take drugs for that, drink this or that in this way or that way, play this game or that game, meditating like this or like that, practice yoga for this and that, stop eating food for so long, or so short, but it has 0 guarantee they will awaken to the law of everything for as long as people do not purify their beLIEve system, their intentions, their acts, their efforts, their speech, their livelihood, their attention and concentration.

Suffering, disease of the body, disease of the mind, should be understood.

Craving, which is the cause of suffering should be, abandoned.

The cessation of suffering, should be realized.

The path of practice, leading to the cessation of suffering, should be developed.

Its by ones accumulation of good deeds, ones purification of beLIEve system, intentions, acts, efforts, speech, livelihood, attention and concentration one will, and only through this realize the truth.

Although by meditating, experiencing the coming and going of mental states promotes the thought: I am nothing or the source is nothing, it is in truth not nothing.
Although by not meditating, experiencing everything as like everything is permanent in nature promoting that the source is everything, it is in truth not everything either.
Although by meditating, and not meditating, experiencing everything was neither everything or nothing, promoting it is a third party, it is in truth not a third party.
Although by not meditating as meditating, and  meditating, experiencing everything and nothing being the source of everything, promotes the thought the truth being a subtraction from everything and nothing, the truth is not a subtraction or result of a subtraction.

The extremes of everything or nothing being the source should be abandoned. And the middle path should be walked, which is calm and peaceful in nature, leading to the realization of true happiness.

What exactly can I do, in a practical sense?

- Get rid of attachment to food, eat 1 time a day, and not after the morning (12 o clock), drink during the day mostly plain water.
- Observe the coming and going of all things in nature, by their conditions and nature.
- Get rid of all sensory indulgence that are of the world, examples: Television, gaming, drugs, teachings of the world, just all worldly entertainment.

- Get rid of all contacts that are worrying about the world, complain about the world, are stuck in their worldly beLIEves.

- Challenge what you have been taught: Evolution theory, ball earth, dinosaurs, the moon landing and gravity. (Seek the disprovals and test them if can).

- Change your attitude towards science: If not experienced it, if not a trusted friend experienced it, and if you did not test over the experiments nor your trusted friend, and have not sufficient proof, only some images, video, presentation of something, presentation by someone with a title, or a mass that believes in it, abandon it as widely speculation until discovered yourself.

- Meditate by observing the breath (if difficult, focus on your physical heart first, observing the breath will become natural), and register it, long short etc.

Surely, one is hard on his way and will soon, or later realize the truth.

Accumulation of wholesome deeds; the cessation of unwholesome deeds, surely leads to great happiness.

@Dodoster what is it that does karma yoga? or even, what is it that feels the fruits of karma yoga?

if you truly understand this, then there'll be nothing to do but 24/7 practice of goodness without any attainment in mind.

Lol, do i just need to let go of the attachment to the i, because its not there, but its the thought keeping all other thoughts together?

Like cutting the rooot innit

And what is true will remain, because i dont need to be attached to be myself

your sense of self is not the only one that's illusory. EVERYONE'S sense of self is illusory. so Reality is this Thing experiencing itself through illusory selves. Reality forgets its own origin so it can experience Being by duality. and here You are, reading Your Own messages, fundamentally.

it's not necessary to fight your sense of self, though. you just have to align it to Truth. it's done through training, real practice. i can point the training to you if you want.

waking up to our True Nature just takes us to the door. it's just the beginning. we can fool ourselves grinding out kenshos and samadhis but it's not necessary. all it actually takes is one glimpse. the training process is the same as the one that provides you the glimpse.

right now, through "me" and "you", Reality is trying to wake itself up as this message is being read.
