A perfect example of how stupied stage green can be!

Some context.

Ralph Smart promotes anti vax conspiracy theorys and that the government puts chips in your body via vaccines. I was therefor surprised that Sadhguru decided to be interviewed by him, yet I at the same time get it. It's super counterintuitive and ingenious move.

The interview itself is great but where the real lesson in epistemology comes in is in the comment section. It's hilarious, yet at the same time frightening to read how some people can get it so backwards.?

Stage Green seems to have two strains, the hippie libertarian/anti-government strain and the more intellectual socialist strain, the former being more prone to delusion. Im more on the side of the SJW intellectual types side nowadays, the hippes have gone batshit.

Yeah, it's almost like their own stage orange shadow which is money and selfishness is projected outwards so they come to belive that other people want control, power and money when it instead is they themselves that want it but deny it.

The anti vax hipsters is like a 180 degree reaction against what is not " meaningful" which to them Is the 3D world but then at the same time hold beliefs that everything that is meaningful is power, money ect.. cause that's what they are focused on.

They think that it is them, the enlightened wokesterz who don't care about power VS shallow Sociey.. yet they are the one who focuses on what the ego wants. It's facinating!

No. Sadhguru gave a hint that politicians are not evil monsters but that was about it.

Shadow is certainly a part of all of Tier 1. You cant be truly ideological without reacting against something. Thats why introspection is so damn important, real introspection, not lip service.

This exactly.

When you most value money, material well-being, individual freedom and societal roles, of course you think that the evil ones would be taking just these things from you. That's what it means to be evil.

If we're playing by categories and fitting people into narrow tight little boxes, I'd be former, but oviously I'm much more than silly labels

It's interesting there seems to be two kinds of Stage Green. When I'm talking to people I like to play a game where I prod with certain questions and judging by their emotional reactions I'll know which one they are pretty clearly, whether they are putting it on for show or they have a chance to get past it to Yellow.

What I get from the comments is that spiritual ego likes to project its own ideas of positivity, peace and humility onto no-ego and judge it for lacking those things. Well, of course it lacks those things, because it lacks ego xD

To expand on this, I would say that the first strain is basically made up of people who don't have a good stage orange foundation when it comes to both epistemology and how scientific thinking works. Cold rationality is an important step for many people and if they don't go through that and try to go straight into green, instead of a well integrated foundation for green, you almost get this slightly less toxic but more glorified version of stage blue.

I think a better way to explain this first strain is by combining both spiral dynamics and the 9 stages of ego development. They are like this stage green version of the conformist stage. They adopt stage green values and ideologies but their thought process and ego development hasn't gone through the achiever or expert stage (or if they did, not completely). They are stage green but they aren't at the achiever or pluralist stage.

I would say that the intellectual socialist strain is more in line with the traditional way we see people progress through the stages and their corresponding ego development stage. They typically have a good orange foundation even if they no longer identify with orange anymore. They have simply passed through that stage.
