True feminism and the horrible version of it society is getting

7 posts in this topic

Feminism as a concept is great and necessary however the way it is being implemented is quite problematic. Instead of bringing feminine values into the extremly masculine world it is just making females act like men and guys act like wimps. Expectations of feminism: A society where art, beauty, kindness is equally important to economy, success and achievements . This would be a true equal society.

Reality: Calling people sexist for saying genders have differences.

The world these days is extremly masculine and masculine values are respected and desired by everyone and feminine values are disregarded. This needs to change. Femininity and masculinity are not just about male and female, they are much more. Some feminine aspects: spirituality, intuition, emotions, art etc. THIS IS TRUE FEMINISM. This is what should be pushed these days in our world. Not the garbage we get these days trying to make guys and girls equal and calling people sexists if they mention the slightless gender difference. It is even worse, it is just making females act like man. If Leo said that females are more attracted to personality and guys to looks he would get probably attacked by females calling him sexist and how genders are all the same etc (oh wait this has already happened).

The dumbest most twisted versions of feminism are what is becoming popular instead of the true healthy core of it.

Making males and females equal does you little good when society is dominated by the masculine interpretation of the world, where masculine version of a good life is what matters only.

The good it brings is exactly what you don't want; social acceptance for males to be feminine and females to be masculine. This allows for more individuality actually. It throws away your idea that men have to act like men and women have to act like women. "Boys wear blue and girls wear pink" is social not biological.

If you give people the freedom to express themselves masculinly or femininely it is the opposite of making people act the same. There's more variation.

There's too much TOXIC masculinity. And we don't let women have HEALTHY masculinity enough. This is like saying "women shouldn't play sports because it's masculine." or "women shouldn't provide, compete, be courageous, etc"

If there's too much masculinity, why not make the dudes more feminine?

Nobody says your sexist for saying genders have differences. "transgender" for example literally implies "two". They call you sexist for forcing gender stereotypes onto the sexes, because that's the definition of sexist.

When the feminine role moves into the territory of the masculine role, the masculine role has two options:

1) Move into the feminine role. This is simply a reversal of roles.

2) Become a stronger man and change the definition of masculinty.

@Karmadhi It seems that you have chosen the first option. Instead of whining on forums like a woman, try to become a stronger man and choose option 2. :D

@JosephKnecht Maybe i am doing that and also sharing my thoughts here? Maybe you can grow while critizing in a construstrive way? Do not be so limited, both can come hand in hand.

I did not call anything bad per say, just saying that it is focusing on not the important core things.

A lot of opportunity being wasted on irrelevant things like who should cook and drive in a couple.

@fortifyacacia3 What matters are making society more unitive, ignore male and female stuff. This is about energy and values, gender irrelevant.

When you make empathy just as important as success, intuition as important as logic and art as important as science then we can talk.

This is what matters.

I don't think feminine values are disregarded. I see true feminine energy as being irresistible and demands respect of itself. Not an easily achievable goal but it's there.

@Karmadhi Lol reread your first post and say gender's irrelevant ?

Then you are in full agreement with feminists. It's only relevant because there are swaths of people arguing that only women should cook and clean with nothing more. Women in the workforce is equated to bad parenting and basically the collapse of society. How is it irrelevant when there exists countries where women are not allowed to drive?

& what places better exemplifies these values than in the feminist stronghold of universities? Half of the world thinks the other half is too sensitive, too empathetic etc. We have them to thank for art still being as important as it is. Maybe they haven't been successful enough at making society value anything outside of the hard sciences, but this is biting the hand that feeds you.
