They are identical in effect. Just isomers of each other.

White DMT is not necessarily more pure than yellow DMT. Some people make the mistake of judging purity by whiteness.

@Thought Art synthetic before any contact with air is pure as snow. Here's a photo from chemistry forums:

Synthetic DMT can also be yellow. Although usually yellow DMT is extracted. Synthetic DMT is rare.

Freshly made pure DMT can range from crystal clear through white and yellow to practically red.

How do you snort Malt? Is 5mg a good snorting dose for someone whose never taken Psychedelics before?

It's intuitive, you inhale and that's it. You position yourself so that it doesn't fall out nor it falls to the throat. You will know this because powder will fall your nose or because your throat starts tasting very chemical.

Divide half in one nostril and the other half in the other nostril.

Yes, it's below threshold. 

If you don't feel anything you can snort another 5mg.

Roll up a tiny piece of parchment or wax paper.

The roll should be very small, like 1 inch long.

It depends on you. I use a bigger measurement scoop for snorting and introduce it in my nose and inhale. But you'll get your own method with experience.
