I think i have stored trauma in my body

5 posts in this topic

Long story short:

I've been suffering from OCD for  about ten years, the problem was more severe back then and right now the situation is much better.

9 years ago one guy touched on my back and since then i have tension in that exact area he touched me.

This tension makes me anxious and unable to sit still or focus on a single task.

Do you think that this might be trauma in my body and how could i realease it?

Some of these movements may help. When trauma is stored in the body Qigong has shown to help people work through it. Use at own risk this is not a prescription but I use this practice to help me move through my own trauma.

A book I recommend is How to Hack Your Vagus Nerve

That is most likely your body telling you to move.

It's ok to listen to your body, you don't always have to sit still and focus on one task. If you need to move, then move! You can always come back to your task when if feels more comfortable for you.

feel into your body by practicing body awareness.

you repress those emotions and they subside down but they're still there, so try to feel into it even it gets uncomfortable.
