So how many approaches of women per night/weekend/year (whatever) is a good amount?

In my opinion I wouldn't go about it trying to hit a certain number of approaches just for approaches sake, because you're gonna get your practice no matter what if you're out there and putting proper energy into it. Quality over quantity. It will probably get monotonous and your encounters will get less meaningful because you'll be talking to the 48th/50th girl for the month and just want the conversation to be over 

I would focus more on setting what specific result do you want. Do you want phone numbers? Do you want to set up a date?

If you want to get a phone number for example, just go out until you achieve your goal. It might take 4 approaches, or 23! But you keep your eye on your goal and do whatever work comes.
