Could you guys point some sources on how to do the astral thing, please ?

I recently purchased Thomas Campbell' "My Big TOE" (stand for Theory Of Everything) but I don't know if it's about the "how to" astral projection (I'm still waiting for the book to arrive).

I've done lucid dreams using WILD, which is very similar to what seems to be for astral projection, but then I couldn't tell what the difference between a  dream and an out of body experience (then, the most profound dreams I have are non-lucid, and often spontaneous).

Hahahah, it takes more than one dose of 5-MeO to get enlightened. It's true that any other psychedelics get a MeO-"flavour" and will be stronger, but the pure MeO-experience is something else. I did 3g shrooms one week after I did MeO and I had the most far "out out of body" / "out of this world" / near-death experience (maybe I'll write this up) and was shocked how deep it was. It was the MeO that boosted it.

It's a different thing. It was very potent yes, but shrooms will show you how your perception works, how your unconscious works, how society evolves, how nature does its thing, it'll heal your emotional wounds, it'll heal the shit that MeO brings up (emotional stuff as well) but still ... MeO shows you God. And that's no story. No nothing. Just God.

@OBEler so you have a theory that taking a psychedelic in the astral realm will give you the same effect as in psychical reality so long as you've done that particular substance before? that sounds like some cunning edge research. good luck!

Astral Projection is an endogenous release of psychedelic neurotransmitters. It's probably DMT since it has some dissociative qualities, but it could just be tryptamine or phenethylamine, or all three (we already produce all three, just in very small quantities). So really taking a psychedelic in the astral realm isn't really all that different from any other visit in the astral realm. And I doubt that you'll produce any non-endogenous substance just because your astral body took some. You'll probably produce more 5meo if you see yourself taking some, but that probably won't even come close to actually taking 5meo physically from your normal waking state.

Who do you mean actually by "you"? the astral body is not a biological body. It doesnt produce anything. I can take substances like food and alcohol and you get nearly the same experience like the human body.  You get the same sensations for a short period of time, as long as you are conscious as what you are doing in astral realm.

Yeah, it amplifies the typical shroom effects but also introduces a kind of "MeO"-flavor into the trip. It's pretty cool.
