shamanic breathing - difficult

4 posts in this topic

I've been able to reach 5 minutes in shamanic breathing. And I'm in a normal heath. How can one do shamanic breathing for 20-40 minutes - I have no idea. Has anyone been able to?

Also, after 5 minutes I feel blood rush to and through chest, head, legs, arms, as if I didn't move them for a day and finaly I've  straightened them out.

At least, this already is beneficial for health, right?

i dont know what it does to health. But I have done 10 mins(i have no idea how, and it was my first time)

my fingers were bent and in crooked positions, couldnt move them or straighten them at all. My shoulders were also stuck in some position. Only after a minute, it slowly fixed.

Honestly, nothing major awakening wise. I am too preoccupied with breathing to even get into questioning etc.

I am in normal heath as well, I even get easily fatigue after some running etc.

In my first shamanic breathwork tryout , I could barely reach 15 mins and then stopped. Because I had got already some interesting emotional "visions" by the 8th min or so & then i got distracted by my own crying and stopped.

I repeated sessions for 5-6 times at least later on for the past few months- but i never reached the "visions" again, although I could reach 20 mins these times. In each time I had numb hands with crooked fingers , numb nosetip & lips.

I guess surrendering yourself to the situation by lightnening your breaths would work ?

I've done a few one hour sessions while being guided by a shaman online. I don't think I could do it alone. It can be very challenging. My whole body and hands cramped and everything the first time it was very painful. Be careful though..

A good shamanic breathing session is like a light dose of 5meo ahha

After that session I was in a bad way and made some decisions I regret. NEVER MAKE DECISION directly after a trip, or intense spiritual practice/ ceremony. You aren't thinking right, and things might not be as bad or whatever as they seem.
