Enlightenment

When its clearly seen without a doubt that the individual within the body is an illusion, whether or not self-referential thinking still arises doesn't matter in the slightest because it's recognized as just being remnants of past identification as the doer and thinker of thoughts.

It's a disentangling from the socially conditioned matrix of mind known as ME.

Freedom from and for no one... so to even call it freedom is still a misunderstanding.

It's beyond the idea of an individual that could be free or imprisoned.

“Everything is honoured, but nothing matters.” — Eckhart Tolle.

Nope. Self activity remains just as it remained before enlightenment. There is literally no-thing to drop.

Cessation of self activity is not enlightenment. Cessation of self activity is just another transient (impermanent) state.

??? before enlightenment there was a person who believed to be in life, have family vsvs. After enlightenment that so called person so called died. Realization happened that now is before birth, and nothing has never happened. There is no such a thing as self nor self activity. So called now merged with before birth. All was thought not even. There is no self to have an activity. You have no idea what are you talking about, according to you james and me identical, no it is not because there is no such a thing as James. When you say self activity remains and there is nothing to drop, you are conflicting with yourself . There is nothing to drop because there is bo such a thing as self nor activity. Now is before birth.

Before enlightment, i am going to be enlightened. After enlightenment what is me or enlightenment.

If you ask me, what do you know? I'll respond: everything.

And by everything you do also mean nothing? Or are you still seeking?

Nothing to seek.
