Heart issues with Mushrooms?

4 posts in this topic

Has anyone here had any physical health issues with taking mushrooms, specifically micro dosing?

From what I have seen there is some concern about HT2B receptors in the heart being effected, specifically with prolonged microdosing.

You'd perhaps think it were more likely in regular doses but I believe that has something to do with consistent vs occasional usage.

I have already done mushrooms, just twice, 1.7gs.

I am not looking to either micro dose (3-4 days on 3-4 off for 1-2 weeks) or take another 1.7 g dose.

Has anyone here encountered physical health issues with any of this?

I've tripped with mushrooms multiple times at medium to high doses. Only once i remember to have been affected in the heart. I remember feeling my heart very tired and somewhat painful. A mild pain, nothing too concerning though and it passed away until the next day.

The feeling i got was that i have tripped too hard, experienced too much sh*t and i need to rest. The feeling of tiredness in my heart seemed to me caused more by the psychological work of the trip rather than the mushrooms. I don't know for sure though.

Only once has this happned, never else i had a problem.

It's  supposed that could make to grow heart valves and cause disease, but there is not a single documented case (that I have found), and there have been many thousands of people who have used LSD for many years  .  there are some cases with mdma

I had 30 mushroomtrips, good trips bad trips one hell trip.. but never anything to my heart but... after all this trips, I took a little lsd, I was very very receptive. And Iean on on my bathroom.. And as soon as I get up it felt as if my heart burst in my chest, and the sentence « the devil will never go to heaven » played as an infinite story in my mind. Can’t express it. Anyway I felt to the ground, I thought I was death. And got up 25seconds later
