Partner (odur)

4 posts in this topic

Wasn't sure how to go about this, even writing about seems odd.

Is there any way to get around this common situation? You're with someone, they have a bit of an odour down south and it's becoming an issue.

The impact telling someone this could be extremely damaging to one's confidence.

What do you do? It's not someone I see a future with but like spending time with.

Its a sexual partner right? You just sound a bit vague.

Take a shower/bath with them and give them extra praise how nice and clean everything is afterwards.

Maybe do something extra "down south" you wouldnt do otherwise.

Savage method: Dont care and try to embrace their dirtiness fully, maybe you even start to like it. I know

this sounds horrible, but often we are just conditioned that clean/shaved/makeup/free of odur is necessary for

someone to be hot. Also, i have no clue how bad it actually is in you case... my girlfriend is a clean freak.

Sexual partner yes. I can straight off the bat so a definitely no to the latter part of your post. :D Could turn in to a fetish!

It's just always an awkward situation, I may make a joke of it  "What the hell did you eat today, ha" and hope for the best.

No. The worst idea. Ever, ever.

Why don't you ask straight forward? Not like 'why you always smell so awful?', but you could say something like 'did you change your shower gel for intimate parts? it smells a bit different' (with this one you're assuming that she uses one, so if she doesn't use then she'll maybe start) or like 'you should check yourself at gyno, because your vagina smells a bit different'. Maybe a girl really has some bacteria she's not aware of, so it'd be good idea anyways to tell her, so she checks herself. Don't tell her that it's really so bad, tell her it's 'just a bit different', so she won't be much ashamed and hopefully she'll visit a doc and start thinking about her hygiene habits.
