Is there any way to know the first cause of reality without doubt?

@BipolarGrowth How could there be a cause to reality, implying separation from reality? 

Reality is causeless, it's its own "cause", creating itself spontaneously on the fly. 

Daoism puts quite a lot of emphasis on recognizing this aspect of reality.

Yes. Recognition of absolute truth.

Not to mention... A first cause is nonexistent since for event (x) to cause reality/effect (y), this would mean x is separate from y and thus not reality (real).

This is the Big Bang right now, so to speak.

Since Oneness is the highest truth, reality has existed for eternity, and it is it's own cause, and it is uncaused.

All three are necessarily the case thanks to Oneness.

Could you not say the same about multiplicity? What is your difference that makes you so sure oneness is right? I know they are ultimately the same in a sense, but I’m wondering why you say oneness over multiplicity and how could this be anything but just bias that is effective for your survival which determines which is preferred.

Absolute Oneness includes multiplicity of course. This is just a limitation of language.

Become directly conscious of Absolute Oneness.

Oneness has nothing to do with survival or bias.

You need deeper awakening.
