Am I making a mistake by thinking I'm God?

9 posts in this topic

After my deep awakening I'm sometimes having thoughts arising in my mind such as:

- "Well here I am, creating all this present moment"

- "Here I am imagining my mother" (while I was talking to my mother)

- "Fuck it who cares he's not real, doesn't matter what I reply to him" (when replying to a Reddit comment).

Of course the Ego is saying it's God. But in a sense, if the Ego is conscious that it's God, then this is no lie. The ego is God.

However, I wonder if this could create problems in my life. Could I develop some kind of serious mental illness, maybe schizophrenia or delusions of grandeur, if I start to really believe my mother is imaginary and I am creating her?

But at the other hand ,If it's true, it's true. I mean I can "roll with it". No problem. I just want to know if this level of consciousness is maintanable at the level of the Ego, or if I will have to forget again that this is my dream and start to believe again that my mother is real. You know, for the sake of the play, and the sanity.

Go for a walk in nature for example and wonder what is that "I" that want to know / that fantasizes about the levels of consciousness. Is that "I" other than thinking? What the source of thinking? Is it really me? Who am I?

What a dream, what a joke, love it   :x

@Javfly33 thanks for being vulnerable. I was there too...spiritual purification is no joke, so many ways it can go wrong.

To answer your question, you are God..and there is no way around it. Don’t become solipsistic though, you are able to imagine things from an infinite number of perspectives. This includes your human existence and the existences of all other humans. There are multiple perspectives, but one consciousness. That consciousness is yours, as God

You are right. It's just a thought. That's not the real me.

i am god is not god, god does not know who it is, knowing belongs to a dual realm where only its image might exist

moreover i am not god because god is i am, a sizable difference

if anyone in my direct experience should say listen i am god, i am

running quick

'real me' is also a thought. There is no problem with thinking - thinking is inside you so to speak. Just observe the thinking, it's like clouds on the sky - come and go, but the sky (you) is always present. Just relax and be like a sky, my friend.

That would be taking on a belief.

You must become it.  Meaning actual. What i mean is right now If you are finite consciousness now you would become Infinite consciousness.

And what I just said is just a belief until it's actual.

That said when you actually discover what's true you will also have the ability to fall back asleep at will.  Your still lucid but you are temporarily turning that off or forgetting for purposes of enjoying the dream...For instance even though I am conscious my mother is me and imaginary at the Absolute level I do not let this intersect with the relative domain or the dream.  Within the context of the dream she is real.  You will not wanna live your life from the Absolute domain -  the whole point of the dream is to imagine it is real.

@Nahm Haha

@Inliytened1  Do you think Doubting the absolute truth, is the way to forget and fall asleep to the illusion again?

After all, since I am the truth, I can always delude myself and doubt myself, since nobody can verify I am it or not, since that would be projecting my authority to you guys.

So with this "doubt" I am able to fall asleep again and belief that my mother is real. But it just takes some snap my fingers to realize I am in non duality creating everything . It's truly magical.
