Dating Older Guys

So obviously ages 30-35 is still young but I'd like to know what the mentality is of guys dating at this age? Are they super serious about finding something super serious? Haha. I'm 24 and have been dating guys around 28-32 but I noticed I kind of rule out the older guys because I'm afraid of them pressuring me to have kids or get married or do something I'm absolutely not ready for. Should I just stay away from this age range?

You might just project that onto them - people are vastly different in their positions about serious relationships, marriage etc. independent of age.

You could also just mention what you just said in the first date casually, weed out.

Nur generally, just date the person, don't look at their age.

@Gianna  At 24, 35 still seems old, even if you mentally know it's not. Many 35 year old men are immature. Sometimes they want something casual and fun or maybe don't even know what they want. Some men at 35 have there life very together.  It varies

@UDT Yeah maybe projecting out of fear haha but yeah I'm obviously generalizing but it has definitely been my experience a couple of times. So I'm wondering, is it like that all around? But yeah mentioning it in the beginning is huge

I'm 30. At this age, settling down (ideally) should start to hit the male psyche. We mature much slower than women, emotionally that is. It's not uncommon for younger women to date men 5-20 years older...we just take a bit longer to get our shit together but are amazing when we do
