Beware of Life Coaching MLM schemes

I just want to point out something strange about the Life Coaching industry that i've noticed. A lot of people who sign up to coaching are other life coaches or wanna-be life coaches. A lot of coaches sell group coaching courses... directly to these aspiring life coaches. It's like a life coaching circle jerk and the money works its way to the top dog. 

A lot of life coaches I've noticed also have these strange fake positive attitudes, are overly involved in new-age beliefs and a lot of them are Anti-vax.

Statistically, around 30% of life coaches are stage Green, and around 70% are stage Orange.  It is known.

do you want to hire a coach or why are you posting this?

because you are right, that's a common theme. The same is going on in university: people are teaching aspiring teacher with little to no demand in the real world.

Demand is the magic word. There is a demand from aspiring coaches, but only a small demand from everyday folks. What can a typical 20 something really offer? A good coach should succed first, like leo did in his marketing business. If the new coach does that, I'm sure he or she will succed. Other than that they all be pretenders and fail.

I see coaching a as double edged sword. On the one hand it's cool. On the other hand it attracts people who haven't made it in the world beyond.

Yes, the coach training biz tends to be incestuous. So be careful.

Most coaches fail. But then again, most businesses fail. That's just the nature of learning biz. Learning to biz is fucking hard.
