Act.org Textbook > How to save your highlight edits?

6 posts in this topic

  • I have a PDF File of Act.org Textbook (As shortcut on my windows wallpaper background)
  • You can highlight it straight away >> but when I exit the shortcut & reload it the highlights are gone
  • What should I do? Is there a microsoft app for this where the highlights & notes are kept?

Second tech question :

  • When I read an article on brave browser, safari or google >> How do I instantly highlight & take notes of key points?

I have no idea for the second question but the first one i just use adobe reader. I remember changing some settings to save my changes automatically. You can easily google that and see which settings to change.

I use plain old Adobe Acrobat Reader DC, the free one.  When you're done highlighting, press the save button.  Ctrl + S, or the button in the top left corner, looks like:  ?

A "Save As" window will pop up that asks you where you want the file to be saved, and then what you want to name it.  If you keep the name of the file the same, you'll be asked if you want to replace your old file.

You're basically making a new pdf file.  Pdfs don't save the way doc files do, unfortunately.
