mhm, you cant put all democraties in one cup.... and in most cases the differences are much bigger than you suggestet it. a lot of things that you have listet simply arent true in a lot of democracies, shure we are in some things hypocritical but not in that extent that you are suggesting. 

I can promise you that you will feel if you are in a democracy or in a totaliaran regime, no democracy is perfect and a lot democracies have real and serious problems but dont take it for grantet and dont equate it with a regime....
