i tried this book but i found it somewhat irritating (when the author constantly refers the man as a martian and woman a venusian) so i left it in the middle.is there any other book of this genre?

If you want a book similar to that one, but which explains everything from a scientific perspective try The essential difference from Simon Baron - Cohen.

Google research (peer reviewed) primary source textbooks. Grab a kindle, pick a variety of books that land in your topic, and read, read, read about female psychology. I just finished (somewhat related) a text I can recommend that dovetails: "Feminist Perspectives in Therapy: An Empowerment Model for Women" by Judith Worell covering a rich range of topics. Good luck!
