Even if this was true, and you were able to get a bit better of a more impartial perspective (I was hoping for a peer tested review to be honest)

This doesn't mean this behaviour is ego driven. It's a programme.  I'll say it again, maybe you did not catch it first time. The ego is the part of the subtle body that "claims" these experiences. 

These experiences happen with our without an imaginary entity there to claim it .
