Dealing with Lockdown Anxiety Through Spirituality and Meditation

Hey all! 

I've been feeling really stressed and anxious about the virus and the crazy lockdown protocols in my area and I am really in need of some effective coping strategies.

I've been looking into meditation and spirituality as one method but I'm a complete beginner so I'm wondering if anyone can recommend some introductory resources to get started.

I'd really appreciate your help!

Welcome to the forum and to the spiritual path!

Dedicate one full day to your well being: A walk in nature, relaxing music, write a bit, sit and do nothing for 5 minutes - see what comes up to mind, don't resist whatever comes and be aware of your thoughts. Read a spiritual book. 

Know that everything will be okay regarding the virus. In the absolute sense - nothing can harm you :)
