Yes blind spots where Ego is hiding.

As the last layer of ego is dissolved there is an experience of death.

Thanks for the share bro, I really like this video from him. Its cut and dry and he explains it as well as any I've heard. ?

Could you link videos on that? That is the only video I have found that is dealing with that topic.

@VeganAwake Thank you for that but the video did not adress the same issue.

Which issue is that exactly?

I would need to understand your perception of the issue.

The death that is experienced as the final layer of self dissolves.

Yes, the ego is identification with conditioned thoughts/feelings of separation.

Ego = identification

It's not a real entity, it's a misidentification.

When it's recognized BY NO ONE that the individual is an illusion, the disentangling happens by itself sort of speak and in most cases not instantly either.

Right?!

It's not you who wakes up, but from the outside it may look like its the ego waking up. I don't know what it looks like at the more extreme stages, but I found 'dispossessed' to be such a fitting word. It's not like the ego is gone. It still very much is there. You're just not so touched by it anymore and you recognize it for what it is.

The death that is experienced as the final layer of self dissolves.

The sense of self expects there to be a grand firework show because its death sounds like such a big important happening.

It can be shockingly extraordinary and simultaneously ordinary... every experience is a little different and simular in ways.

The phrase "ego death" is pointing to a dis-identification process as the sense of self. Or as I like to call it, a disentangling from the socially conditioned mind matrix known as ME.

But it's more of a non happening because it's clearly seeing through the illusion of self.

And when its seen clearly without a doubt the disassociation occurs naturally to some extent.

The energy that was once given to this illusory ME is drastically reduced and it deflates under the weight of Truth.

:x

"Near-death" (and especially God-realization) is absolutely extraordinary.

Death is utterly ordinary -- it's literally this, lol. Although...it's also absolutely amazing.

That experience is whole complete and perfect.

It's not what's being experienced here ❤

So you don't have a video on the same topic?

Neither here. It seemed to happen in the past though. Mostly with psychedelics. The knowing that apparently faded yesterday was not associated with any substances whatsoever. I no longer believe that psychedelics, nor anything else for that matter, have any power for making liberation apparent.

Whatever you imagine that can " work for 'you' " will eventually turn out to work :D That's the beauty of it.

I imagined psychedelics would awaken me, and boy, they did.

But I could imagine anything to do that. LOL.
I happen to think "psychedelic work" is a particular good idea to imagine as useful in regards to awakening.
He he:D But anything could work -- in theory.
