Instinctual Urges - Community

4 posts in this topic

What is this urge to desire a community rather than remaining alone? Why does it occur & what are some good questions to ask to see if its valid & true to my values?

It's not a desire, it feels more like an intuition or presence. It's an urge/need, & its urging me to develop community & create socialization amongst others.

This is in direct contradiction with spiritual teachers who advocate isolation & overall loneliness.

Perhaps having the ideas that make your identity survive justified and supported by others?

Curiosity, desire to learn from other people and their views of the world?

Creating something greater together that nobody can do alone?
