I was dreaming a romantic fantasy similar to beauty and the beast.

So the plot involves a lot of  fantasy characters.

I'm one of them. I'm playing peony. 

And the tyrant is Reym. 

Reym is a tyrant king and I'm the slave.

The characters are kinda ready

Peony does not  fall in love with Pankhraj right away.

Pankhraj is a talented young man who is witty, sharp and smart. He could outwit anyone.

Peony is delicate and soft almost slavish and her role is played by me.

 

Peony will go through many persecutions, atrocities and injustices before she can feel free.

Peony is held captive by Reym in his big palace .

 

It's a huge place with big gardens,ranches , huge grounds outside the palace surrounded by trees. Lots of space.

Peony is allowed to play and dance here yet she is captive and Reym can treat her the way he wants 

He carries a whip with him when he is supervising the place.

Once he hit Peony very hard with the whip. 

She must obey him or else he will be a monster to her.

He has a wife yet he has his eyes on the young Peony, he does not wish to marry her but he wants to conquer her in bed.

Peony does not like his gestures but her fate is such that she has to obey Reym or face his wrath.

Karzee and is the cousin of Reym and she sometimes feels merciful for Peony and tries to protect her by telling Reym to not harm her 

Usually during intense fights, Karzee steps in to rescue Peony 

Reym has an evil wife, a witchy looking Sulemina who hates Peony, she is a tyrant in her own ways and is a perfect match for Reym. They're  a tyrant couple.

Sulemina will have no problem in beating up Peony or locking her up in jail because suffering of others is what Sulemina always enjoys 

In these difficult circumstances, Peony must find a way out.

Meanwhile Peony's life is not all sadness and misery. 

She enjoys her time in the garden where she likes to sing and dance and play around, usually talking to people who welcome her and like to spend time with her.

I like the characters that you've made up, and you seem to be a natural at coming up with names. I always have the hardest time coming up with names for characters.. Have you seen the 1930s beauty and beast film? It has gorgeous visuals. It has a theater/dramatic mood to it, kinda like your story

I also loved the vintage Bollywood songs that you posted a couple of weeks ago, so thanks for sharing those. This song was my favorite

If you'd like I can paint/illustrate your characters, or a painting that looks like a vintage movie/theater poster, or a scene from your story.  (If you don't want me to thats fine! )

I love making up characters. They make me happy and keep me entertained and keep my creative juices flowing.

I haven't seen the 1930s version but I'll check it out.

The first one and the only one that I watched was this Cannon Movie Tales version that came on my cable network in 2005. I grew up watching old stuff because my cheap cable tv  would only show me old things at a low cost.

I love the theater dramatic mood of old times because that looks more artistic to me than modern day movies and shows.

I love old vintage Indian songs and I'm glad you love them. I tend to post them a lot. It takes me to another world that is hard to find today in my age group. I even like vintage Hollywood. Gone with the Wind was my favourite movie. Watched it nearly 17 times, the role of Scarlet O'Hara. Yet not enough. People laugh at me when I talk about old things because they don't relate to it anymore. But I tend to embrace all the old stuff because it has a certain spirit and grace to it.

I don't exactly need an illustration right now but if I need I'll ask right away. I have a deep admiration for your art and illustration and you do a wonderful job. I enjoy looking at your intricate work 

But if you enjoy doing artwork on my stuff, please do so in your journals and I'd love to see lt. It'll inspire me to shape my characters and add more details to them. Do it as you please and add your own fun and creativity to them so I can harvest some creativity from your illustrations for my work, I'd be very happy

I do enjoy reading your journals on characters, as well as things like ancient civilizations or different cultures. 

Oh, I've never seen that version of beauty and the beast before. Her hair is really pretty in that style. When I was little I don't remember watching too much cable tv, but I watched the same few VCR movies over and over again, like Black Beauty and Pinocchio.

'Taken to another world', and having a certain grace and spirit pretty accurately describes how it feels to watch older movies and music videos. They're like visual time capsules from decades gone by, it's pretty amazing. I've been a bit enamored by Audrey Hepburns voice/accent as of lately, she has an elegant and gracefulness to her. I've never gotten round to watching Gone With The Wind, I'll add it to my watch list. (: 

And for sure, if you ever would like an illustration for anything in particular, feel free to let me know! (and maybe I'll draw something somewhat inspired by your characters or writing, like the palace garden. If I do I'll be sure to tag your name and give you credit) Thank you sm for the compliment too.

Dialogue script between Jagat and Peony 

Jagat- I want you as a sex slave

 

Peony - you have so many dancers. They want you. Why don't you have them ?

Jagat -  I want what I can't have.

Peony - whispers no softly.

Jagat - *places his face close to peony's.* Whispers - I want to hear your screams. 

 

Peony is absolutely petrified and stares directly into Jagat's face, a terrified stare.

Peony - no......I will not(emphasis on not, word spoken in a stern voice) be your sex slave.

Jagat slaps peony across her face really hard. Peony is shook. She cannot bring herself to look into his eyes 

(I was crying while writing this. I had to get into character to feel Peony's pain.)

Scene cuts to Peony doing a wild dance to distract Jagat so he won't be able to rape her 

Maybe he won't. Peony still trusts him. She thinks he will eventually spare her life.

Jagat is the brother in law of Reym.
