The New Age movement is perhaps the latest cutting-edge mass movement anywhere in the world right now, at least idea-wise, but it's not everything. It needs Stage Yellow to give it substance and rid it of frauds, otherwise it's like a scarecrow which ANYONE can easily set on fire.

The great thing about this movement is that it is in theory centered around the ideas of consciousness and Eastern philosophy.

Authenticity SCREAMS knowing what one wants, which is what the world needs in terms of a "philosophy", economics and culture aside.

All We Got:

• Initiation rites-- specifically puberty rites, as a metaphor for life's many trials, and the wisdom and experience gained from it in later life (which quite implies that life CAN be sad)

• Moloch-- practices involving child sacrifice meshes well with the clinical entity that is NPD

• Prima causa ("first cause")-- narcissists act as if they're the prime mover and shaker of things/in other words, control freaks (Sam Vaknin)

• Hierarchies/Beware of the granfalloon-- human herd behavior is by nature primitive, even in so-called spiritual ones (unless proven otherwise in an individual manner)/need to read more on this

• Horizontal and vertical cultures both denote civilization as we know it today

• Example of a psychopathic culture (early 1990s Rwanda)
